[easy-image-collage id=2006]

Choosing where to dine when out and about can be one of the toughest decisions to make whilst on holiday. There are so many high-quality eateries here in Ibiza that you’re practically spoilt for choice.

In order to lighten the load a little, we’ve collected together five of our favourite restaurants from across the island.  So without further ado and in no particular order, let’s take a look at the pick of the pack:

The Giri Café

The perfect afternoon retreat.

The Giri Café

Located in the northern village of San Juan, this charming hideaway is so much more than just a simple café. The Mediterranean menu boasts a number of exotic dishes, and the extensive wine list makes this contemporary eatery a must-visit if you’re in the area.

With a number of sun loungers, terraces, and a gorgeous garden, this is the ideal spot to get away from the crowds and enjoy a relaxing meal with friends or loved ones.

Amante

Eat, drink and relax in this popular bistro.

Amante

If you’re trying to find the perfect place to eat on date-night (or day), look no further than the multi-tiered eatery, Amante. With the dining area on top, a cocktail bar terrace in the middle, and a private beach below, Amante is the perfect location to spend an entire day dining and relaxing.

Hidden away on the Sol d’en Serra, off the beaten path from popular family beach Cala Llonga, this stylish restaurant is very popular, so we highly recommend making a reservation before you visit.

El Bigote

You won’t find fresher fish dishes anywhere else.

El Bigote

Possibly the most picturesque restaurant in all of Ibiza, El Bigote is also the best place to get the freshest fish dishes. A number of fisherman moor in the quaint harbour at midday, bringing with them their latest haul from earlier that day.

Nestled away in the northern beach of Cala Llenya, it’s worth booking at least two days in advanced if you fancy trying out the freshest fish you’ve ever tasted.

Kyupiddo

With sites like this, who needs food?

Kyupiddo

If you’re looking for sights that are almost as spectacular as the food, then you’re sure to find them at Kyupiddo. This contemporary Japanese and Mediterranean fusion restaurant first opened its doors in early 2014, and has been making waves ever since.

Sister to the world-famous B.For Ibiza, which is also known for its delectable Japanese dishes, you’ll find Kyupiddo at the top of Dalt Vila. Its doors open every evening from 8pm, and trust us when we say it’s well worth the trip.

Cicale

The taste of Italy, right here in Ibiza.

Cicale

Situated on a 200 years old finca (Spanish estate), this classic Italian restaurant has been completely renovated by its Italian family owners. It now offers a wide range of rustic dishes, freshly prepared using ingredients picked from the surrounding garden. They also serve the finest Italian coffee in all Ibiza. Seriously; we highly recommend you try it.

Located just off San Lorenzo on the road to San Joan, the dishes vary daily, so try to pop in more than once if you get the chance.

Bonus: Sa Capella

Because there are too many good places to choose from, we couldn’t just pick just five restaurants, and had to choose another.

Sa Capella

Sa Capella is rare gem of a restaurant, allowing you to dine within a beautifully impressive 16th century church, complete with giant archways and all. Found just of the road in between St Antoni de Portmany and Sant Rafel, this ideal place to stop and watch the world go by.

Whilst the service can often be a little sporadic, the view of the sunset from the church terrace makes up for any nuances.
