Rumors at Destino:
What many people don’t know, is that every Sunday evening at the prim and proper hotel Destino, there is a brilliant outdoor party going on, with access to an exquisite view of Ibiza town. “Rumors” takes over the pool area each Sunday and magically transforms it into a quaint, bubbly festival grounds with food trucks and music from the hottest DJs. Come and join the party any Sunday after 6 in the evening. Ladies get in free!
Children of the 80s:
For everyone who loves those golden oldie hits: Children of the 80s is the party spot for you! Apart from all the typical Ibiza sights and sounds, this is a force to be reckoned with on the island. Dr. Alban, Rednex, Limahl, Barbara Tucker, Alice DJ, 2Unlimited and Haddaway all venture here to bring their popular hits back to life. No worries if you’re hesitant about playing a little dress-up either; you can rock a classic Teddy Boys quiff and fit right in, and ladies’ leg warmers are chic du jour! The party starts at 7 in the evening at Hard Rock Hotel. The cover charge is not too shabby (for Ibiza standards): just €20 per person.
Ushuaïa:
What has now become the most popular outdoor club on Ibiza island, i.e., Ushuaïa! Hotel guests don’t make reservations here to be snoozers. Why? Because every night of the week, some of the biggest names in the club scene are featured here. Just to name a few, we have DJ David Guetta, Avicii, Martin Garrix and Hardwell, who are more than enough reason to visit Ibiza every week. The ambiance of the hotel, the wading pool – which is great for cooling off – and getting to witness hotel guests larging it up on the balconies all make for a unique experience. It costs a pretty penny to get in on the action, but it will be 60 euros well spent. Events kick off at 5 in the evening, so be prepared to have the time of your life.
The Zoo Project:
Uncage the party animal in you at The Zoo Project! This is the hottest place to boogie in your sexiest leopard skin or show off your zebra print, if you so dare. The uniqueness of the location makes for an even more special experience since the party takes place right in Ibiza’s old zoo. Let loose at the seahorse arena or do a couple’s dance in the lion’s den. This place really gives off that summer festival vibe! For just €40 you can spend a Saturday going wild, starting as early as 4 o’clock in the evening. Brits love it!
