Christmas in Ibiza: our favorite places during the holidays
The winter months show Ibiza in its most pure, authentic and natural form. Where we have become accustomed to wind, storm and rain at home, Ibiza is one of the few places where we can enjoy the sun close by. Have a nice picnic on the beach, followed by long walks… Swim in a heated pool or in relax in the sauna. And in the evening, cheers by the fire to a wonderful (winter) day. We therefore agree that celebrating Christmas in Ibiza is a surprising and delightful way to spend the holiday season. Invite your beloved family & friends, and choose your favorite house!

1. Can Nou @ Cala Jondal
Celebrating Christmas with a large group (10 pers)? Can Nou is your place to be!
A breathtaking location in the mountains, surrounded by nothing but greenery with a dream view of the sea. Take a morning walk through nature, and then have lunch on the beach at Sa Caleta. With a little luck you’ll be sitting comfortably in your t-shirt enjoying delicious tapas… In December? Yes it’s possible! At home you’ll take a dip in the heated swimming pool where you’ll end the day with a fun ping pong tournament.
Want to go on a trip? In 15 minutes you’ll drive to the old center of Ibiza to enjoy traditional Ibizan cuisine in the beautiful historic building of CBbC Ebusus.

Enjoying the sunset during Christmas? #real holiday goals! Villa Passion is a great place to enjoy the holidays with children. The heavenly outdoor life takes a center stage in this beauty. You can enjoy a swim in the heated infinity pool, prepare a great BBQ for your Christmas lunch or simply enjoy the pretty view. In the garden you’ll find a true play paradise for the kids and for the sports enthusiasts there is even a modern gym. Inside it is also nice and cozy with a fireplace, lounge sofa and enough space for everyone. A nice walk on the beach, that’s all you’ll need, right? 3. Can Santo @ Santa Gertrudis
Can Santo is the ideal winter home. There is a central heating system, partial floor heating in the living room and oh YES: an amazing sauna! There is even the option of a heated swimming pool. This is a lovely house with enough space, inside and outside. The location is also centrally located on the island and you are next to the cute village of Santa Gertrudis. Nice restaurants such as Olivia’s Ibiza Kitchen, L’Atelier N74 and cocktail bar Overall are open all winter, so there is plenty of choice for delicious long lunches together.
Tip: for a sporty hike, look for the hidden beach Es Portixol. You’ll park your car 3 km from the beach and then reach the bay through scented pine forests. 4. Can Drago @ Cala Vadella
Looking for the perfect NYE destination? Can Drago is waiting for you! A beautiful villa with a cool interior in the south of the island. Including fireplace and lovely heated swimming pool, completely winterproof. The location is also great, with the beach an 8-minute drive away. Bring your own picnic and enjoy some snacks after a walk on the beach. Want to make this year extra special? How amazing would it be to have a private chef prepare your dinner on New Year’s Eve! Or rather a great show at Lio? Enough options!
On January 1, you’ll take a New Year’s Eve dip at Ses Salinas and maybe even eat “oliebollen” at SLUIZ. This is a tradition of the Dutch owners, so keep an eye on their agenda. Want to start Christmas morning with a delicious Christmas breakfast? The lovely managers of Casa Alna are ready every day to spoil you with their delicious food. Now that’s how to enjoy the holidays! This beautiful house has a heated swimming pool and plenty of winter-proof spots inside. Nice lounge sofas at the fireplace, good internet and a nice large table where you can have diner together. You are close to the cozy harbor of Santa Eularia where you can have a nice lunch at El Chiringuito Blue or try the unique Nikkei cuisine at Higo in the evening. Both are open all winter!
