How does it work?

SGR protects UK customers when booking a holiday. It ensures customers do not lose money or become stranded abroad should a travel company collapse.

SGR translates to Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden (translated: Travel Compensation and Guarantee Fund). This fund is created to reassure consumers that their money is safe, and will provide assistance in the unlikely event a travel company would go bankrupt.

Companies under SGR listing are under constant financial supervision and evaluated to meet SGRs strict conditions. You can verify One of a Kind Travels membership at the SGRs website.
