The big department store Sluiz is also a must visit, this is an colourful indoor shop where you can find the most beautiful and arty, some may say bizarre home decoration, clothes and a lot of stuff you just got to have. There is also a little bar where you can get a drink or small snack.

4. Indulge in authentic Ibizan cuisine
Why not treat yourself to breakfast, lunch and/or dinner! It’s another way of learning about the Ibiza culture. The island’s gastronomy is rich in flavours, very diverse and of high quality! Many of the local restaurants are only making use of local produce. Some dishes you should absolutely try are:
- Bullit and guisat de peix: a traditional fish dish with vegetables and garlic
- Sofrit pagès: a mix of meat, potatoes and sausages typical of the islands.
- Greixonera: a sweet pastry similar to bread pudding
- Cafe caleta: coffee with cinnamon, brandy, lime and orange
- Hierbas: a typical Ibizan liquor made from herbs found on the island.
5. Go wine tasting!
There are several wineries in Ibiza. Below some we recommend, all three offer a wine tasting tour. That way, you’ll still have 1.5 to 2 hours under your belt, and with a nice wine you might forget about the rain.
- Ibizkus: a boutique winery situated on the main road between the towns of Ibiza and Santa Eulalia. The indoor tasting room is perfect for rainy days, and they are open year-round. Open from Monday till Saturday, most days from 10am till 7pm.

Most of them are produced with the local Monastrell grape. Sa Cova is also fun for kids since there is a petting zoo and a playground!
